Clothing Advice for Travelers
To ensure comfort during your stay, here are suggestions
for what to pack:
·
Daytime
(during outings):
o Light long-sleeve clothing (cotton or breathable
fabric).
o Lightweight trousers or a skirt.
o A light cardigan or sweater in case of indoor
air-conditioning.
·
Evenings /
Early mornings:
o Bring a medium-weight jacket or a warm layer (e.g.,
fleece or wool sweater) since it can feel cool at 12–16 °C.
o A scarf or wrap could add comfort.
·
Footwear
& accessories:
o Comfortable shoes for walking around the city.
o Sunglasses and a hat are useful for bright, clear
days.
·
Event/travel-specific:
o When attending formal sessions, business casual
attire is suitable — adding a blazer or shawl.
o A compact umbrella is not strictly necessary given
low chance of rain, but if you prefer to be prepared, a small one won’t hurt.
o As the winter air is dry, it’s advisable to bring
lip balm or petroleum jelly to prevent dryness.
D. Charging Port
Most hotels in Bangladesh provide both two-pin and three-pin plug sockets. Travelers are advised to bring a universal adapter to ensure compatibility with their electronic devices. Illustrative images of plug types:
